Our Staff
Full Access Remodeling has its general offices and warehouse in a 5300sf facility in Shakopee. We get our management expertise and entrepreneurial energy from two leadership positions, Stefan Silverman, President, and Ken Bolduc who handles Field Operations and Estimating as Vice President. Five highly skilled field supervisor/project managers and Barb Haupt, Finance & Administration round out our professional staff. Several carefully selected subcontractors and construction helpers fill our crews and enable us to handle several projects at once.
Stefan G. Silverman
President/Owner and MN Building Contractor Licensee
Mr. Silverman has 35 years of business management experience including marketing and advertising positions with a Fortune 500 building products company and Founder/CEO of a 100+ employee pharmaceutical packaging business which he ran for 18 years. That company was sold in 1998 to a large multi-national packaging company.
But despite all this management experience, his real love has always been architecture, construction and remodeling, an interest he developed through his own projects over the years. Among them, he designed and general contracted a vacation home for his family and oversaw the conversion of a 100-yr-old, 200,000sf factory complex into a multi-use commercial/retail facility. By then he was totally hooked on moving into the remodeling field.
He opened a franchised Mr. Handyman® business in 2002 which quickly grew to 14 employees operating 10 vans in Southwest Minneapolis and suburbs. The concept for Full Access Remodeling grew, in part, out of his wife's work as an Occupational Therapist and his involvement with organizations like the Care Options Network. Clearly, he decided, there was a need for a remodeling specialist firm focusing on special needs individuals and seniors.
Ken Bolduc
Vice President, Estimating/Field Operations
Ken has 30+ years of remodeling and construction experience as a skilled carpenter and, for 15 years, owned and operated Ken Bolduc Construction doing both commercial and residential projects. They ranged from kitchen and bath remodels to large commercial renovations including medical facilities. Great examples of his work are the design and construction of the Café Latte restaurant on Grand in St. Paul and doctor's office condominiums at Fairview Riverside.
Ken has extensive experience in ADA compliance work. He completed hundreds of projects for individuals with disabilities and the rehab of properties to be used as group residences. He is an excellent communicator which is, in part, why clients quickly develop a high comfort level with his management of their projects. Ken truly cares about how the project impacts the household or business and makes sure that our crews proceed with sensitivity to the people as well as the product. Customers appreciate this extra effort and when projects are finished, we often feel like we've gained a friend, not just a customer.
As Housing Program Director of a $5.6 million non-profit in Minneapolis, Ken was responsible for facilitating a $25 million investment in affordable housing over two years. In that role he worked with city officials, state legislators, private developers and architectural firms to make this important project a reality.
Finally, in addition to supervising field personnel Ken manages our sophisticated design, scheduling and project management systems. Because he is proficient in many of the trades himself he has practical knowledge that helps us plan and run our jobs at peak efficiency. And that helps keep costs and prices down.
